Christmas 2016

Christmas came and went super quick, didn’t it?! It was a busy month preparing everyone’s gifts and getting everything perfect for this past weekend of what we know and love as CHRISTMAS! Joseph and I had several sides of our families to visit and attend to, so let’s just say we were busy nonstop this whole weekend!

On Saturday, December 24 in the early afternoon we visited my moms house to celebrate Christmas. DB’s kids are here for the holidays this year, so we got to see them and give them gifts.

For my outfit I kept it fancy casual and just wore black Hollister jeggings, this cute button down long sleeve, Steve Madden Meow Ballet flats, and a gold collar necklace.

When we arrived at my moms we ate delicious lettuce wraps DB made for an appetizer, then had a nice Christmas Eve lunch at my moms cute holiday table setup! They made some peppermint fudge and the infamous peanut butter cookies which were of course delicious!

After we ate we opened gifts and had such a great time. My mom and DB did a joke on all the kids and gave us bags of toilet paper, old socks, bandaids, old toothpaste, or dryer sheets to see if we would be grateful for what we got. It was pretty hilarious and creative of them, and we had such a good time! We took photos afterwards and spent time with them for awhile until we had to leave. Thank you mommy and DB for such an amazing Christmas!!

After we left my moms house we went to Joseph’s family’s side at his sister Sharon’s house. Joseph’s mom made some delicious soup and tamales, then afterwards we opened gifts. I got Sharon the black Rihanna Puma slides which I was super excited for her to open, and I’m glad she loved them! We had a great time with his family and I’m glad they all enjoyed their gifts!

On Sunday, Christmas Day, we planned to head out to my sister’s house in the Bay Area so we can have Christmas with our dad together too (ehhh…the joy of split families…) I picked my dad up at his house and we drove out to my sister’s house. Her and Tony were great hosts, and had plates of crab for us to eat and also some dinner which was delicious.

Sharon had got me this cute bodysuit and boots for Christmas the night before, so I put together this cute outfit for Christmas Day, which I was obsessed with! The necklace is actually a headband that I decided to wear as a necklace because it looked cute – I love doing DIY things like that!

After we ate we had my dad open all his gifts, and he was SO happy with everything he got. We got him tons of things (my sister got him a Keurig as one of the gifts, and I got him tons of clothes and Adidas slides) and he was very surprised and happy! We each opened our gifts one at a time and my sister got me so many amazing things as well! (Too Faced Sweet Peach collection, Ariana Grande Perfume, Paris Hilton Gold Rush perfume, Vintage Mannequin stand, etc.) I’m also glad my sister loved the gifts I got her as well (Michael Kors crossbody bag, Urban Decay makeup, Victoria Secret track suit, Snookie necklace, etc.)

When we were done opening gifts we made brownies (and at the mix lol) and spent time there for a few hours before leaving. I want to thank my Sees for having us over and for all that you did! It was so much fun and this Christmas was very special with my family. I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday as well!
