So I’m a huge fan of Karrueche Tran -a model, fashion stylist, actress, and now beauty creator with Colourpop Cosmetics! In my opinion she’s more than ‘Chris Brown’s ex-GF.’ She was just a regular girl like us, at one point working in retail at Nordstrom for 3 years until her break as a celebrity stylist…then getting signed with Wilhelmina modeling agency at a whopping 5 foot 1. She’s proof that you can be any height to model, to break out of that ‘normal’ job, and to make your own dreams come true after only being primarily known for someones ‘ex GF.’ Not to mention she’s the absolute cutest little thing and definitely my #WCE!

I recently picked up a couple of her Kaepop by Colourpop (Karrueche x Colourpop) Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks to try out. And let’s just say I’m not disappointed! I picked up the colors ‘Chi‘ which is a cool tone nude beige color, and ‘Rooch‘ which is a deep wine color.

I love Chi for an everyday lip color – its absolutely gorgeous and you can layer it to be a little darker. It has literally become my favorite everyday nude lipstick lately!

I haven’t worn any deep burgundy lipsticks lately, which is why I wanted to try out Rooch. It’s a sultry, dark vampy color which definitely gives a pop of color to your face. I love the color and can definitely see myself wearing this at several different events.

 

You will definitely be needing these liquid lipsticks in your collection! The color payoff and lasting power of these lipsticks are amazing, and for a whopping $6 each you can’t go wrong! I think Karrueche did a fantastic job in choosing colors, because these call out my name (and maybe yours) like no other! Since I loved these two, I will definitely be getting more items in the Kaepop collection.
