Mineral Veil Repurchases: Hourglass and Bare Minerals

I’ve recently repurchased these two makeup items for a second time. They have become two of my holy grails and must-haves for my daily makeup routine. And what a coincidence, they are both labeled as ‘Mineral Veil‘ products! The mineral veil products give a soft focus effect and are known for keeping your makeup on longer. And I absolutely agree with that!

I’ve tried a lot of different face primers, but they would be either too dry or too oily for my combination skin. After watching a few Youtube videos and raves on the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, I decided to purchase it myself. It’s oil free, mineral based, SPF 15, and creates a smooth canvas for foundation. There is no scent to it, and the white smooth feeling of the primer feels nice on the skin. It doesn’t make my skin dry, or too oily. It definitely helps my makeup last longer, so this primer is my favorite so far that I’ve tried. It is pricey though, but worth it. (1 oz. is $52!). They do have the .33 oz bottles though for $18 to tie you over or to try it out.

I purchased a Bare Minerals kit for my mom as a gift, and included was the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil finishing powder. I tried some on one day and it really helped with oil control throughout the day! I then purchased my own and have been using it ever since. The Mineral Veil is a translucent finishing powder to apply after foundation to help absorb oil. It gives your face a flawless effect and even conceals blemishes! I absolutely love the mineral veil because it works, and its not as expensive as other translucent powders.

I highly recommend these two mineral products if you are looking for oil control. They both work wonderfully on my skin and also have high ratings with other consumers. These products are good for your skin and paraben free. Try them out with the affiliate links below:
